Christmas Carol Singing in Speen December 2022

The original plan was to hold three evenings of carol singing starting at 5.30 around the streets of Speen - Monday 12th, Thursday 15th and Monday 19th December. Unfortunately for the first two nights the weather was very cold, there was a lot of ice about so these evenings were cancelled.

Although it was wet the Monday 19th December, it went ahead and on the following night Tuesday 20th it was a warm dry evening with a temperature around 6 degrees.

We would like to thank the carollers, collectors and organisers of mulled wine and mince pies for their support and the generous contributions from the community in Speen.

Elizabeth, Maureen, Bob, Peter, Jill, Ciarán, Dave, Paul, June, Martyn, Albert and his Mum Elle, Amanda and Mary

Over £600 was raised by this event
